Welcome to Plankor. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website, products, and services. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. Product Information and Images
Plankor makes reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, specifications, pricing, and images are accurate.
However, product photographs, room scenes, renderings, marketing materials, and digital displays are provided for illustrative purposes only.
Actual product appearance may vary due to:
- Lighting conditions
- Installation environment
- Screen calibration
- Viewing angle
- Natural manufacturing variation
Customers are strongly encouraged to order physical samples before placing significant orders where colour, texture, or appearance is important.
Sample products should be evaluated within the intended installation environment and under actual lighting conditions.
2. Orders and Acceptance
All orders are subject to:
- Product availability
- Payment verification
- Order review and acceptance by Plankor
Plankor reserves the right to decline, cancel, modify, or limit any order at its sole discretion.
3. Pricing Errors
While we strive for accuracy, errors may occasionally occur.
Plankor reserves the right to:
- Correct pricing errors
- Cancel affected orders
- Issue refunds where required
even after an order has been submitted.
4. Product Availability
Inventory levels displayed on the website may not always reflect real-time availability.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, Plankor may:
- Offer a substitute product
- Offer a backorder option
- Issue a partial refund
- Issue a full refund
Any such action will be communicated to the customer.
5. Customer Responsibility for Measurements and Quantities
Where Plankor is supplying materials only and has not separately contracted to provide installation services, the customer assumes responsibility for:
- Site measurements
- Quantity calculations
- Product suitability
- Installation planning
- Overage calculations
- Material shortages
Plankor shall not be responsible for shortages, overages, or installation interruptions resulting from inaccurate measurements or quantity calculations.
Customers are encouraged to purchase an additional 5–10% material allowance to accommodate cutting waste, installation waste, and future repairs.
6. Installation Responsibility
Professional installation is strongly recommended.
Customers and installers must follow all applicable installation instructions and product guidelines.
Failure to follow installation requirements may void warranty coverage.
Where installation services are not supplied by Plankor, Plankor accepts no responsibility for installation workmanship, installation errors, subfloor preparation, or installation-related damages.
7. Inspection Prior to Installation
Customers and installers must inspect all products before installation.
Do not install products that appear:
- Damaged
- Defective
- Incorrect
- Inconsistent with the ordered material
Installation constitutes acceptance of the product’s appearance, colour, finish, dimensions, and condition.
8. Warranty
Plankor provides limited product warranty coverage on eligible products.
Warranty coverage is subject to:
- Product-specific warranty terms
- Proper installation
- Proper maintenance
- Normal residential or commercial use as applicable
Warranty coverage may vary by product and shall be published separately where applicable.
Failure to follow installation or maintenance requirements may void warranty coverage.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plankor shall not be liable for:
- Indirect damages
- Consequential damages
- Loss of profits
- Business interruption
- Loss of rental income
- Contractor delays
- Accommodation costs
- Labour costs incurred without prior written authorization
Plankor’s maximum liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the affected product.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
11. Amendments
Plankor reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updated versions will be published on the website and become effective upon posting.
